Business continuity with freistilbox

These are the key steps we are taking to ensure our business continuity to help support our customers’ businesses.

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic continues to unfold, our main concern is the wellbeing and safety of our team and their families, customers, and partners. Our customers rely on freistilbox to enable people all over the internet to peruse their websites, APIs and web applications. Maintaining reliable web operations for our customers under the current conditions is our number one priority.

Business Continuity Planning

Because of the promise that freistilbox will always allow our customers to “work efficiently and sleep peacefully”, freistil IT has put extensive effort into preparing our continuity plans, which ensure our core infrastructure, processes, and staff will be resilient.

Safety

freistil IT has been a fully distributed company since its inception in 2010. This gives us a significant advantage compared to other businesses that only now start to explore operating a fully remote workforce. Our staff works from home workplaces that meet high ergonomic standards and are equipped with freistil-issued, secured and managed computers, ensuring consistency and security.

We’ve also cancelled any employee travel for the months of March and April.

We will update these guidelines as the situation evolves.

Hosting Performance

We actively monitor the health, availability, and performance of our hosting infrastructure 24/7, and will continue to enact our standard incident management processes should they be required. We do not anticipate any change to the performance or reliability of our infrastructure. We continue to work with our data centre partner and thus far have no indications of any alleviated risk of disruptions.
